Science Lite DIY

While perusing Design Milk I came across the pretty little number made from glass chemistry test tubes and plywood. It's just begging for one of you DIY divas out there to get your hands on. Who is up for the challenge?

The Maria S.C. lamp, designed by Pani Jurek, was inspired by Polish scientist Maria Sklodowska-Curie, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the discovery of polonium and radium. You could fill the test tubes with colored liquids, or tiny beads, or flowers, or sprinkles, or...

Awesome design, awesome story.

If any of you crafty readers figure out how to put one together, whip it up and send photos - I'd love to post!
